The indoor lounge is the social heart, comfortable seating around a coffee table, large bay-side windows, a stocked mini fridge for the BYOB cold drinks, modern decor that doesn't feel like a charter rental. The aft deck is the outdoor living room with shaded table seating for eight, where most meals happen and where steps lead down to the swim platform during anchor stops. Forward of the mast, the bow trampoline net stretches between the hulls, guests lie out on it during the cruise, watch the bow wake, and frequently spot dolphins pacing the boat. Across a 3-4 hour day most groups use all three.

About the crew: Malarky doesn't hold a liquor license, charters are BYOB. The crew pours, plates, and serves concierge-style throughout, and on request will act as your bartender, mixing and serving cocktails from whatever you bring aboard. Mention it at booking. By hour two, the crew knows everyone's name and what they're drinking.

Optional water-toy add-ons: stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, a 16-foot lily pad floating mat, tower jump pads, and an 15-foot lily pad off the stern. Confirmed in advance and inflated by crew when you anchor.

Catamaran charter pricing.

Private catamaran charters on Malarky are $550/hour with a 2-hour minimum. The rate covers full private use of the boat plus a crew member to handle hospitality. A USCG-certified captain is $50/hour, paid directly to the captain, you pick from our available captains. Add-ons (water toys, catering coordination, extended duration) are itemized separately. The hourly rate is flat: same Tuesday morning or Saturday sunset, summer or winter.

Booking minimums and cancellation.

The minimum charter length is two hours. Most charters book three to four hours, which we recommend, long enough to take in the bay under sail, anchor for a swim, deploy any add-ons, and return without rushing. Two hours feels compressed by the time you've boarded and gotten underway.
