Pricing & Booking

What an anniversary charter costs.

Anniversary charters on Malarky are $550/hour with a 2-hour minimum. The rate covers full private use of the boat plus a crew member to handle hospitality. A USCG-certified captain is $50/hour, paid directly to the captain, you pick from our available captains. Add-ons (water toys, catering coordination, extended duration) are itemized separately. The hourly rate is flat: same Tuesday morning or Saturday sunset, summer or winter. The typical anniversary charter runs 2.5 to 3 hours, timed so the boat is on the western side of the bay through golden hour. Anniversary dates lock in early.

If your anniversary is on a specific calendar date, not a flexible weekend, book 6+ weeks ahead, especially in summer (May through October) when the boat is solid. Weekend evening slots in summer are competitive. Mid-week anniversaries and dates outside summer typically have more flexibility. For the actual round-number dates (25th on the actual day, 50th on the actual day), priority booking is the move; we will not double-book a milestone anniversary.

Cancellation policy.

Full deposit refund three or more weeks before your charter. Free reschedule up to one week before departure, subject to availability. Non-refundable within one week. Weather-related flexibility is the standard exception on shorter notice, if the day is genuinely unsalvageable, we move you to the next reasonable window at no charge.

Can we bring champagne?

Yes. BYOB is allowed and actively encouraged for anniversaries. Bring whatever champagne or wine the milestone deserves, premium bottles at retail prices rather than marked up 3-4x on a charter bar tab. Two rules: no drinking from glass (pour into the plastic cups we provide) and no red wine (it permanently stains the deck). Champagne, white wine, rosé, sparkling, and spirits are all welcome.

Can the charter be a surprise?

Yes, we coordinate surprise anniversary charters often. Let us know when you book that it's a surprise.
